Improv Night – Benefit for Never Ending Books
The Uncertainty Music Series
Never Ending Books – 810 State Street- New Haven
The Uncertainty Music Series at Never Ending Books concludes this Saturday with a performance featuring ad-hoc groupings of local improvisers. All donations received from the concert will be donated directly to Never Ending Books as a small token of gratitude for use of the space over the past 10 years. Please come out and help us say thank you to Never Ending Books.  Uncertainty Music Series is a New Haven-based creative music series curated by composer Carl Testa that has been presenting concert events since September 2007. The series focuses on original music generally of the improvised, electronic, or experimental varieties. The goal of the series is to provide a venue for local and regional artists that may not have the opportunity to present their work elsewhere. The inspiration for the series comes from artist-run organizations like the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) in Chicago/New York and the CT-based Creative Musicians’ Improvisers Forum (CMIF).

The lineup of this Saturday’s benefit is as follows:

Chris Cretella: guitar
Anne Rhodes: voice
Grant Beale: guitar
Conor Perreault: guitar
Carl Testa: bass, electronics
Jeff Cedrone: guitar
Bob Gorry: guitar
Louis Guarino Jr.: trumpet
Adam Matlock: accordion
