When is the decision to move the concert to the rain venue made?

HJS must make the decision no later than 11:00 am on Monday (in accordance with our contract with the sound system supplier). The decision is based on the best available weather forecast information at that time, but it is always possible that the forecast could change by the time the first concert starts at 6:00 PM. Once the decision is made, however, it cannot be changed.

How is the decision communicated?

• Through our e-mail list soon after the decision is made
• Call the HJS office at 860-242-6688 (10 AM - 2 PM)
• Check either www.hartford.gov or www.letsgoarts.org – these sites will likely be updated much sooner than http://www.hartfordjazzsociety.com/mnj-schedule.html
• Call the Hartford Call Center at 311 (or 757-9311)
• Through WWUH-FM (91.3) and WRTC-FM (89.3)
• The Greater Hartford Arts Council will quickly blast out an e-mail alert to the assignment desks at radio and TV newsrooms
