| $30Lulufest grew out of the Wall Street Jazz Festival, in Kingston, NY and continues its founding mission of spotlighting women-led bands in Austin TX and in the Berkshires. By giving women artists the freedom to lead, choose their musicians, and present their own musical visions, the festival offers an important and distinctive platform for improvisational music, and artistic leadership.
LLF Berkshires will feature from Austria vocalist-pianist Dena DeRose, Bassist Mary Ann McSweeney and her Urban Fado Project featuring jazz violinist Sara Caswell, Jazz pianist-composer Peggy Stern and her group, vocalist-composer Suzi Stern and her quintet and trumpeter Summer Camargo and her band.
