Acclaimed drummer, composer and bandleader Jonathan Barber brings his dynamic artistry for a performance that blends the soul of jazz with gospel, rock and fusion. Voted “#1 Up-and-Coming Drummer” by Modern Drummer in 2018, Barber has toured and recorded with legends such as Pat Metheny, Terence Blanchard, and Erykah Badu. As the leader of Jonathan Barber & Vision Ahead, he has captivated audiences worldwide, earning 4.5 stars from Downbeat for his album Legacy Holder. Barber was recently appointed Jazz Drum Professor at the University of Connecticut.
