Jazz at Three Sheets

I’ll be playing a set of Latin Jazz with students from my Latin Jazz Ensemble at SCSU. We’re going to feature some Latin classics interspersed with a few tunes from Brazil. That set is from 6-7 and that is followed directly at 7:30 by a jam session that lasts until 9 pm. I’ll be holding down the bass chair all evening unless there’s some bass folks out there who’d like to sit in during the jam session and give me a break.  I am pretty excited about this set as it features some of the strongest singers and musicians currently studying at SCSU. I’m happy to have an opportunity to feature them. If you like Latin rhythms, and you like supporting young students who are learning about Latin culture through music, come on down and give a listen to what these young men and women will be putting down!
