Laurel Knight ft. Secondhand Silk

Laurel Knight is joined by Secondhand Silk, making together an atmospheric soundscape as the backdrop for intimate performance art involving a tour through an assortment of boxed collections, with the goal of assembling a bone throwing set. Laurel Knight makes videos on YouTube and this will be her third performance at the Buttonwood Tree.

Laurel also generously donates her time to the Buttonwood Tree. You will see her behind the concession table on a few nights per month. She also creates beautiful assemblages on our bookcase, alternating items with the seasonal changes. She has a prolific amount of work, both visual and musical. In 2015 she started her musical journey as part of local duo My Favorite Color, a project that incorporates a collage of voice clips, samples, and instrumental performances.
